I'm searching for my first hole-in-one. I enjoy being active and making things. I work for Automattic.

  1. I am truly sorry to hear that you are addicted to Crossfit. Their routines are too extreme for me to even consider, and I’ve been pretty active for years. I hate to think that so many people are tearing up their muscles and risking serious injury every day because of this addiction.

If more people read this article from the NY Times, perhaps they would be less likely to fall victim to an addition to something as dangerous as Crossfit.

Getting Fit, Even If It Kills You

There must be some sort of a recovery group for people with Crossfit addictions. If not, hopefully someone will start one soon.

    1. You can get injured in any sport and workout program with and without supervision. Most CrossFit affiliates now have an elements class series or on-ramp sessions for beginners to build up endurance and teach proper form.

Note that the article you linked is from 2005.
